You Asked, We Answered

How does this programme differ from other "Sustainability" programmes?

Beyond just training on concepts, we offer a practical space where your business can begin creating tangible documents to use in finance, production, and communications.

Our team comes from numbers-focused fields, so we emphasise materiality and metrics as the foundation of your business impact.

Everyone talks about sustainability. What framework or approach do you use?

We rely on well-known international frameworks like the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the

B Impact Assessment (B Corps).

These frameworks guide businesses toward meaningful action without reinventing the wheel.

I’ve barely heard about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They sound complex and irrelevant to my business.

They are an overarching framework applicable to every organisation. We'll try to keep it simple and relevant.
Being sustainable goes beyond recycling or measuring your carbon footprint.

By applying the SDGs to your value chain, we invite you to identify and analyse material sustainability issues in your business

“B Corps” sounds impressive, but also hard to achieve... I don’t think my business is at that stage yet.
Should I bother?

“Certified B Corps” are not the best companies of the world—they aim to be the best companies for the world.
Companies that begin the  journey often discover valuable insights by comparing their practices to the best in their region, country, and industry.
The hardest part is taking the first step: starting. With the free B Impact Assessment tool, we’ll help you take that initial step toward business improvement.

Note: We’ll introduce the tool and make it accessible to your business, but this programme does not cover completing the full impact measurement questionnaire.

I’ve seen many similar programmes; what makes this one special?

We will foster real interaction between businesses.

An Enterprise Adviser from Venture Taranaki will be also present to understand your business needs and opportunities.

We also aim to create synergies for better business in Taranaki.

Hear from those who’ve taken the Journey

"I've really enjoyed being part of the workshop. It has taken me from confusion to clarity on this journey. I now feel I know what I need to do to take this further, which is a great outcome.

Often, you attend a course like this and leave with a head full of fuzz, not knowing what steps to take next. This workshop was different."

"When I came to this, I saw it as the start of our sustainability journey. I was expecting something focused on compliance, but it’s gone far beyond that.

It’s given us a whole new overview of our business and shown us how to truly integrate this thinking into what we do, rather than treating it as just another compliance requirement.

That’s been the most valuable takeaway for me.

It’s about going beyond compliance—setting your purpose and mission, and drilling down into how that truly becomes part of your business"

"I left the workshop with clear steps to continue my sustainability journey, which had previously felt overwhelming. I highly recommend this workshop to other businesses aiming to set and achieve sustainable goals but feeling unsure about where to start or how to progress. Belen and Clarisa made everything more manageable and actionable by breaking it down into smaller, achievable steps. I’m really excited to continue this journey. Thank you!"
